Exporting Excellence

03/04/2008

The Yorkshire and Humber winner for the 2007 International Trade Awards is Nisa International.

The judges were impressed by Nisa International’s clear focus, total attention to detail and robust customer service.

The award, sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland, was presented to Sean Ramsden (MD) and Lilliana Golob (Marketing Manager) at The House of Lords in London on 2 April 2008. The company was also a finalist for the International Trade Company of the Year.

“We are extremely proud that the value-added service we offer through technology, multi-lingual customer service and flexible logistical support are recognised not only by our customers but from Industry as well” commented Sean.

Russell Grazier, Regional Sales Director at Royal Bank of Scotland said, “Congratulations to Nisa International for winning the regional award. It’s clear to see why the judges were impressed with their expanding exporting business and thriving website.”

With international business growing an average 20% a year for the past seven years, Nisa International’s turnover is now over £25m. The business is probably one of the largest grocery export wholesalers outside the US.

International Trade Awards are the premier import export awards devoted exclusively to recognising excellence in import, export and international trade achievement.

New Range, New Website

13/02/2008

For the first time in our history, we diversified our mainstream British food and grocery products and have added a complete range of Speciality Food. This reflects trends in the consumer market, both in the UK and globally, towards more niche and artisan products, which include organic food.

To view the new Speciality range click on “Products” tab, then “Speciality”. For full product details including prices, please log in.

These products can be added to your Personalised List by clicking on the (+) symbol located beside the products.

In addition to our Speciality Range, we have a new website. Based on feedback from customers, the new website incorporates a number of changes we hope will make using the site even easier.

Additional languages, improved navigation, suggested products and increased product data are some of the features new to the site.

There is still a dedicated My Account section which you can view your Personalised List, approve quotations online, see past order history and more. To access these features, please log in.
